New Details, Timeline For Strong Thunderstorms, Hail Released For CT Saturday
The National Weather Service released new details on when CT may see stormy weather conditions on Saturday. Here are the new updates.
CONNECTICUT — Up until 1 a.m. Sunday there is a chance for thunderstorms, strong wind gusts, and even hail for the state, according to the National Weather Service.
NBC CT also reports that the best chance for thunderstorms is between 7-11 p.m. Saturday.
The weather service said a "Cold front will move across the area this evening and tonight likely to be accompanied by showers and a few thunderstorms. The thunderstorms are expected to arrive from west to east after sunset. These thunderstorms are expected to weaken as the move
east of NYC. Some of these storms could produce strong winds gusts and hail...."

"Average rainfall for this evening looks to be 1/4 to 1/2 inch, with the higher amounts NW of NYC. Locally higher amounts are possible in any downpours...Out east, could see redevelopment of fog with nighttime cooling before the frontal passage. Some clearing expected after the frontal passage later tonight, with lows in the 40s."
Sunday looks dry with increasing clouds during the day and rain is forecast for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
