Everyone's favorite mischievous monkey is coming to Barnes & Noble Milford on Saturday, June 14 at 11:30 am in the store's children's books' department, The One Hundred Acre Woods. Curious George will be available for photos, to shake children's hands and even for a hug! Adults are allowed to grab a photo with him, too!
At 11 am Barnes & Noble Milford's Lead Children's Bookseller Peg Reekie will lead a story time featuring the book, "Mighty Dad!" Children can create a card for their father or another significant person in their life. We may also hear some stories about Curious George!
Saturday's event kicks off Barnes & Noble Milford's Summer Reading Program. Children are invited to stop by and pick up a reading journal where they can record books they read in June, July and August. When they read eight books, they may choose a complimentary book from selected titles in The One Hundred Acre Woods. We will have some fun party games for children at noon to celebrate the start of summer vacation!
