Date Revealed For Speed Enforcement Cameras In Milford
An initial 30-day warning period to allow drivers to adjust will start this month, police said.
MILFORD, CT — The police department said that a 30-day warning period for speed enforcement cameras will begin Monday, May 25.
During that period, drivers "may receive warnings instead of citations while everyone adjusts," police said.
The speed enforcement cameras are intended to encourage safer speeds and reduce the risk of serious crashes, according to police. The cameras will operate around-the-clock at specific locations, including high-traffic corridors and near schools.
