DC Comics Editor Paul Kupperberg Kicks off Get Pop-Cultured at Barnes & Noble Milford

Paul Kupperberg, author of more than 1,000 stories for DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Bongo Comics and 2000 A.D., will talk about the comic book industry and some of the renowned characters he has penned—Archie, Veronica, Batman, Superman—at Barnes & Noble Milford on Sunday, July 20 at 2 pm. Mr. Kupperberg is the author of the mystery novel, The Same Old Story and co-creator and contributor to the ReDeus anthology trilogy, and Kevin, (a young adult novel featuring the first openly gay character in Archie Comics’ history), Betty & Veronica and DC Superheroes Mad Libs, and a regular contributor to R.Allen Leider’s Hellfire Lounge anthology series. He wrote the groundbreaking Life With Archie series for Archie Comics, including the controversial “Death of Archie” storyline, which has been nominated for the 2012 Eisner Award, the 2013 Harvey Award, and the 2014 GLAAD Media Award for “Outstanding Comic Book.
