Developer Wants 12 Townhouses On Less Than 1 Acre Of Milford Property: Report
The application is another affordable housing proposal.

MILFORD, CT — Milford residents continue to vehemently oppose a developer's plan to construct a 12-unit townhouse project at 178 Seaside Avenue on less than one acre of land, the Milford Mirror reports.
Residents expressed concern about an increase of traffic in their neighborhood and implored the Planning and Zoning Board to deny the project. The project has been filed as an affordable housing application, which means the developer can ignore local zoning laws, essentially rendering the PZB powerless to deny the project.
If the PZB denies an affordable housing project, the developer sues and almost always wins in court and the municipality can incur significant legal fees along the way.
