Did Milford Residents Pick Trump or Clinton for President?
Full election results and numbers were released for all races that Milford residents voted on.

MILFORD, CT — On Election Night in Milford city residents narrowly preferred Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump by a margin of 13,596 to 13,386 or a less than 1 percent difference.
Clinton earned 48.2 percent of the vote in Milford, Trump received 47.5 percent, while Gary Johnson earned 791 votes or 2.8 percent and Jill Stein received 349 votes or 1.24 percent.
In the race for U.S. Senate, Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., amassed on multiple lines 15,072 and 2,085 votes and his opponent Dan Carter, a Republican, received 9,766 votes. Blumenthal received 62 percent of the ballots cast in Milford.

Incumbent Rosa DeLauro, a Democrat, received 15,130 and 2,490 votes on multiple lines or 64 percent of the vote and Angel Cadena, a Republican, received 9,904 or 36 percent of the vote in Milford.
Locally, State Senator Gayle Slossberg, D-Milford, defeated her challenger Pat Libero, of West Haven.
Slossberg received 14,361 and 1,395 votes or 58 percent in Milford and Libero received 11,266 or 42 percent. Slossberg was re-elected to a seventh-term.

In the 117th State House District, Charles Ferraro, a Republican, won re-election to a second-term and received 2,579 and 171 votes in Milford or 55 percent, and Democratic candidate Sean P. Ronan received 2,153 and 126 votes or a 45 percent total.
For the 118th State House District, Kim Rose, the Incumbent Democrat defeated Republican candidate Rick Varrone. Rose was re-elected to a fourth term and received 5,581 and 731 votes on multiple lines and received 57 percent of the vote, while Varrone earned 4,731 votes or 43 percent of the vote.
For the 119th State House District the Republican incumbent Pamela Staneski defeated Democratic candidate Ben Gettinger. Staneski earned a second term with a tally of 6,402 or 59 percent of the vote compared to Gettinger, who received 4,096 and 354 votes on multiple lines or 41 percent of the vote.
Republican Debra Fellenbaum received 12,881 votes and Democrat Kerri Rowland received 13,348 votes for registrar of voters.
