Driver Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries In Milford Crash: Police

A vehicle struck a metal guardrail late Thanksgiving night, police said.

MILFORD, CT — A person suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash in Milford late Thursday night, according to police.

Police were called to investigate a serious motor vehicle accident at 11:05 p.m.

An initial investigation found that a vehicle with Ohio plates was driving south on Kinlock Street when the driver collided with the metal guardrail at the intersection with Rogers Avenue, police said.

The driver was treated at the scene of the accident. Firefighters then took the victim to Yale New Haven Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
