Ethan Allen of Milford Earns Summer Savers Award

Ethan Allen of Milford received a Summer Savers Platinum Award through the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection for reducing more than 35 percent of its electricity usage by installing LED light bulbs in its showroom.  The Platinum Award is given to the organization with the greatest reduction in electricity consumption among all the Connecticut Summer Saver awardees.  Ethan Allen utilized programs available through the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund, administered by The United Illuminating Company as part of the Energize Connecticut initiatives.  Jack Betkoski, vice chairman of Connecticut's Public Utilities Regulatory Authority, Amy Frankes, VP Northeast region for Ethan Allen, Trish Dimugno, district design manager of Connecticut, and Pat Bidwell, design center manager of Milford, at the awards ceremony on April 22, 2014.
