Since 1965, Saint Gabriel School (SGS) has provided a quality, Catholic education in a safe, caring and nurturing learning environment for all children, Pre-K through grade 8, regardless of ability or religious affiliation. For the safety of our students, we are also a NUT FREE school in an effort to avoid severe allergic reactions.
St. Gabriel School has been known for the individual attention we devote to each child beginning with our Preschool students. We respect the uniqueness of each child by recognizing individual needs, gifts and talents. SGS creates specially designed curriculum for all special needs children that is adapted to each child and their particular needs. Physical and occupational therapy are also offered at St. Gabriel School to assist in the learning process.

SGS is equipped with state of the art Smart-Board technology for grades 1-8 and a mobile computer lab for grades K-8. Our quality certified teachers offer a rigorous academic curriculum in addition to Spanish, Computer Lab, Art, Music, and Performing Arts classes. SGS is proud to offer students the opportunity to participate in both the National Junior Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society (Sociedad Hispanica de Amistad). After school homework help is available for those needing extra assistance with their studies.
Extra-curricular activities are essential to the well-rounded development of our students and they are offered the opportunity to participate in basketball, cross country, soccer, yearbook club, choir, student ambassadors, band and many other activities offered throughout the year. Students participate in service-learning projects in an effort to better the surrounding community.

SGS is in compliance with the No Child Left Behind Act and is fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc. According to the Iowa Tests, St. Gabriel School students are learning at several grade levels higher than the national average.
St. Gabriel School offers before and after school child care, as well as, bussing to students residing in Milford and a shuttle service to the YMCA.
