Fight Inside McDonald's Leads to Arrests: Milford Police

An employee was involved in the fight and charged, police said.

MILFORD, CT — Two men including a McDonald's employee, have been arrested for being involved in a fight inside McDonald's at 439 Bridgeport Avenue on Monday, Milford Police said.

Police said they responded to a fight inside the building and it led to the arrest of Jesus Martinez, 20, of Marina Village in Bridgeport and Chama Comstock, 44, of Robbins Court in Milford. Officers on-scene learned that the fight started when Comstock repeatedly called Martinez, who was working at the time, derogatory terms and Martinez then walked around the counter to confront Comstock about the words he was using, police said.

They were both charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace. Comstock is also charged with second-degree intimidation, third-degree criminal mischief, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of less than a half ounce of marijuana.

Comstock was held in lieu of a $1,000 bond. Martinez was released on a promise to appear in court.
