Firefighters Extinguish Milford House Blaze

MILFORD, CT — A fire broke out a Milford home Thursday evening, according to Fire Battalion Chief and Public Information Officer Adam Hansen.

A 911 call came in at 9:12 p.m. reporting a fire at a Hillside Avenue home. Firefighters responded and found an active fire in a wall.

Firefighters quickly located the fire and extinguished it.

"There was the need for extensive overhaul to ensure the fire was completely extinguished," Hansen said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
