Milford Firefighters Respond To Numerous Calls In Wake Of Storm
Firefighters responded to calls for a possible house fire, wires down, transformer fires, utility pole fire, and medical emergencies.

MILFORD, CT — The Milford Fire Department responded to numerous calls for service Monday morning. The calls came in between 4 and 7 a.m. and included a possible house fire, wires down, transformer fires, utility pole fire, and medical emergencies, according to Battalion Chief/Public Information Officer Adam Hansen.
The fire department posted a video of a large tree that came down on Alden Court, bringing power lines with it. The damage caused the utility pole to catch fire, eventually burning through the pole and causing it to snap in half.
Firefighters responded to all calls and did not report any injuries.
