GoFundMe Started For 3 Sons Of Julie Minogue, Milford Homicide Victim

The GoFundMe will benefit the three sons of Julie Minogue, who was killed Tuesday in Milford, according to police.

MILFORD, CT — A GoFundMe will help support the three children of Julie Minogue, who was killed Tuesday night in Milford.

"My beautiful younger sister Julie was horrifically murdered on December 6th," wrote Allison Barotti-Corcoran, who organized the GoFundMe. "She was a victim of domestic violence and had tried multiple times to keep her and her children safe."

Minogue's oldest son, Nicholas, is serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. Shaun is a senior in high school and Luke is an energetic 3-year-old, Barotti-Corcoran said.

"Julie spent most of her parenting years as a single parent. She navigated working full-time and caring for her boys with ease and love.

The GoFundMe has reached more than $44,000 of its $50,000 goal.

Ewen Dewitt, 42, of Roxbury was taken into custody Wednesday and charged with murder, criminal violation of a protective order and restraining order, risk of injury to a minor and reckless endangerment. Bail was kept at $5 million.
