HomeGoods is Coming to Milford
The retail store is closing its store in East Haven to move to Milford.

City residents will have a new shopping destination soon when the popular HomeGoods store sets up shop at Milford Crossings on the Post Road.
Milford's gain comes at East Haven's loss. HomeGoods will be closing its in April to move to Milford, according to a New Haven Register report.
HomeGoods officials confirmed the East Haven store will close in early April, and then reopen at a spot in the Milford Crossing shopping mall later that month.

Although the Frontage Road location is closing permanently, all 68 employees who currently work there will be given the opportunity to retain their positions with the company at the Milford store.
'Lease Issue'

Arthur DeSorbo, who serves as East Haven's economic development coordinator as well as its director of administration and management, said HomeGoods parent company TJX Companies, had a "lease issue" with the property's owner.
"Or at least that’s what I understand it to be,” DeSorbo told The Register.
In Milford, the city's Development Director Robert Gregory said there's some buzz about HomeGoods' arrival. The store will join existing Milford Crossing retailers , and .
