Person Of Interest Sought After Unresponsive Infant Dies: Milford PD
Cleaning staff found an unresponsive infant in a hotel room bathtub Wednesday morning, police said.

MILFORD, CT — An investigation is underway after an infant was found unresponsive at a Milford motel Wednesday morning, according to police.
Police received a call from the Mayflower Motel on Woodmont Road at 11:06 a.m. reporting that cleaning staff had discovered an unresponsive infant lying in the bathtub of a vacated room.
Officers performed CPR on the infant until paramedics arrived and took over life-saving measures.

The infant was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital and declared dead at 11:56 a.m.
On Wednesday afternoon, police said they are "looking to make contact with Dale Kirkland (DOB 08-09-1993) who is a person of interest in the untimely death that occurred this morning."

Kirkland was last seen in Bridgeport on Wednesday. Police released a photo of Kirkland and said he is approximately 6 foot 8 inches tall.

UPDATE: In an update Wednesday night, police said Kirkland has been located. No further information was immediately provided.
