Intoxicated Driver Hit Building, 2 Vehicles: Milford Police
A man is facing charges that he hit a vehicle, then fled and hit another vehicle and a building on the 4th of July, police said.
MILFORD, CT — A man is facing charges that he crashed into two vehicles and a building while driving intoxicated, police said.
Police responded to a report of multiple vehicle accidents near Bridgeport Avenue and Naugatuck Avenue on Thursday at 7:10 p.m.
Police found that one of the vehicles had crashed into another vehicle, then fled and crashed into another vehicle and a building at 195 Bridgeport Ave.

An investigation found that the driver was intoxicated, police said.
The driver, a 21-year-old Brookfield man, was charged with operating under the influence, evading responsibility, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, driving the wrong way, and following too closely.

Bond was set at $500. He is scheduled to appear in Milford Superior Court on Aug. 1.
