In 1875 the Baldwin and Lampkin Shoe Company opened on the Milford Green. The store was located on the upper part of the green (Waterbury Lock Building) and sold high quality shoes and boots.
Milford citizens have always been proud of their city/town. Every twenty-five years there is a celebration. We celebrate the past, present and future of “the little city with the big heart.” Celebrations have included fireworks, parades, re-enactments, and good fun. Pictured is part of the 325th parade.
