Jonathan Law High School Students Named National Merit Commended Scholars

Congrats to the three Law students on the academic honor.

Dr. Elizabeth Feser, Superintendent of Schools, is proud to announce three students from Jonathan Law High School recently were named National Merit Commended Scholars by The College Board for their performance on the PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test).

The students receiving this honor are Emmanuel Alesna, Amita Sastry, and Emma Shea. A Letter of Commendation from the school and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation will be presented to these academically talented students.

More than 1.5 million students, nationwide, took the PSAT/NMSQT exam last fall, with only 5% earning the title of National Merit Commended Scholar.
