Landscaping Business Seeks To Open In Milford

The application is currently pending before the Planning and Zoning Board.

MILFORD, CT — The Planning and Zoning Board is considering an application to allow for a landscaping business with a storage yard at 0 William St.

Northeast Horticultural Services is seeking approval to construct a new facility for a landscaping and horticultural company consisting of office and shop space. The office space will be 3,000-square-feet and the shop area will be 5,040-square-feet. The listed business owner on the plans is Stacey Marcell, of Stratford.

"The applicant proposes to construction 8040 Sf building that will be used for a landscape
contracting business," city officials said in a report. "An outside storage yard of 13,500 Sf feet is proposed with a gravel surface. The southwestern property line is located along a portion of William street which is proposed to be abandoned. The Abandonment was previously approved by the PZ Board on May 9, 2019 for a previous application for a different use of the property. This application does not require another 8-24 review. As presented, the proposal is substantially zoning complaint."
