Here are the latest updates concerning Milford and the new coronavirus.

MILFORD, CT — The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Milford is now at 616 and the number of deaths has risen to 70, according to the latest data from the state Department of Public Health.

A total of 2,797 Milford residents have been tested for COVID-19 so far.

Milford CT City Hall said "As a reminder, Milford beaches are open to Milford residents only. While swimming at the beaches is allowed, it will be at one’s own risk as lifeguards have been reassigned as waterfront monitors. Stay safe and healthy, Milford!"
