License Plate Cameras Vandalized In Milford: Reports
Several of the license plate cameras were vandalized and knocked down last week, according to reports.
MILFORD, CT — Several of the city's Flock Safety license plate cameras were vandalized and knocked down last week, according to News 12 Connecticut.
The cameras were installed over a year ago. More recently, Milford installed speeding and red light cameras.

The police department has said the license plate cameras are used to identify and track license plates and vehicles that may be connected to crimes.

Two of the damaged cameras were in the area of 1770 Boston Post Road, near Exit 40, and Boston Post Road near East Town Road, WTNH News-8 reported.
Police are investigating.
