Mall Closing 5 p.m. Today

This in from mall officials:

Due to the severe weather expected from Hurricane Irene and considering the safety of our shoppers and employees, Westfield Connecticut Post Mall in Milford and Westfield Trumbull in Trumbull will be closing at 5pm today, Saturday, August 27.  Westfield Meriden will be closing at 7pm today, August 27.

All Westfield Malls in Connecticut will be closed on Sunday, August 28.  We are expecting to reopen normal operating hours on Monday, August 29.
