Man Strikes Victim With Metal Rake: Milford PD
The victim has a full no-contact restraining order against the accused, police said. The accused was released on a $150K bond, police said.
MILFORD, CT — A Milford man is accused of hitting a person with a metal rake on Wednesday, police said. The victim has a full no-contact restraining order against the accused, police said.
On Wednesday, police responded to a Meadows End Road residence for a report of an assault, police said.
"The victim stated that they were exiting their car when they saw Datadeen carrying a rake with four metal prongs raised in the air, and unprovoked, began running toward the victim threatening to kill them," police said in a news release.

"The victim ran from Datadeen as he chased them swinging the rake, eventually striking them in the forearm," police added in its news release. "The assault caused an obvious injury to their forearm. A witness stated that they were driving on Meadows End Road when they observed a person run into the road screaming with a male chasing them wielding a rake, striking them."
The witness exited their vehicle and disarmed the man, later identified as Lindell Datadeen, police said.

The victim has a full no-contact restraining order against Datadeen, police said. The victim’s child was in the vehicle at the time of the incident, police said. Datadeen was taken into custody.
Lindell Datadeen was charged with:
- Violation of a Restraining Order
- Breach of Peace 2nd Degree
- Assault 2nd Degree
- Criminal Trespass 1st Degree
- Risk of Injury to a Minor
- Threatening 2nd Degree

Datadeen was released on a $150,000 bond and will appear in Milford Court on March 15, 2023.
