Man Charged After Choking Woman, Threatening Her Life: Milford PD

MILFORD, CT — A Bridgeport man was charged after he choked a woman and threatened her life, according to police.

Eric Stukes, 32, was taken into custody April 6 for the January 2022 incident. He didn't allow a woman to exit his vehicle and then choked her to the point where she couldn't breathe, police said. The woman was also a protected person under a full no-contact order.

Stukes was charged with second-degree strangulation, unlawful restraint, second-degree threatening, third-degree assault and four counts of criminal violation of a protective order. Bail was set at $50,000.
