Man Charged With Burglary, Larceny Offenses: Milford Police
Police said a local business was burglarized. The accused was given a $25,000 bond.
MILFORD, CT — A Bridgeport man, Carlos Ortiz, 30, of Cottage Street is accused of causing $100 worth of damage and stealing the cash register and cigarettes from a Milford business, police said.
On July 14 Milford police took custody of Ortiz in regard to an active warrant for his arrest, police said. Ortiz is accused of being involved in a burglary to 695 Bridgeport Ave, Suremart in November 2019, police said.
He is charged with third-degree burglary, sixth-degree larceny, second-degree criminal mischief, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit second-degree criminal mischief.
