Man Charged With DUI After Fleeing Crash Scene: Milford PD
A city man crashed into a fence and then drove away, police said.
MILFORD, CT — A city man was charged with driving under the influence after he left a crash scene, according to police.
A car crashed into a fence on French Drive Nov. 11 and then fled the scene.
Officers stopped Christopher Gaites, 57, and determined he was intoxicated, police said. He was charged with driving under the influence, evading responsibility and failure to drive right.
