Man Charged In Milford Robbery: PD

MILFORD, CT — A Stratford man was charged after a robbery at the Speed Mart on Meadowside Road Saturday. Two suspects held a victim at gunpoint with a facsimile firearm and stole a vehicle and bag, according to police.

Bridgeport police stopped a vehicle Saturday night and took Niza Clark, 18, into custody. Officers found the victim's bag and a facsimile firearm in the vehicle, police said.

Clark was charged with first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, 5th-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny, stealing a firearm and criminal possession of a firearm. He was held in lieu of $250,000 bail.

Police continue to search for the second suspect.
