Man Claims Trailer Stolen, Turns Out He Hit a Car and Got it Stuck Fleeing in Milford: Report
Milford police say they found the trailer stuck under an underpass, which local residents are unfortunately used to seeing.
MILFORD, CT — Vaughn Joyner, 32, of Waterbury, has been arrested after making a false claim that his trailer was stolen in Milford, reports WTNH News 8.
Joyner told Milford police that his trailer was stolen but after investigation police say he actually hit a car and then got his trailer stuck under a railroad underpass as he tried to leave the scene, News 8 reports.
The incident occurred on Old Gate Lane Friday morning.
