Man Punched Woman In The Head: Milford Police

MILFORD, CT — A Milford man, Anthony Scroggins, 47, is accused of punching a woman in the head after a verbal argument, police said.

Scroggins was also found to be in violation of a court order of protection which protected the victim, police said.

Police said they responded to Eisenhower Park, 780 North Street, Sunday on the report of a domestic dispute. Investigation led to the arrest of Scroggins who is charged with breach of peace, third-degree assault, violation of a protective order, and interfering with an officer.

He was held initially in lieu of a $10,000 bond, police said.
