Man Rammed Milford Police Vehicles During Attempted Escape: PD
The man crashed into a police cruiser and an unmarked police vehicle while attempting to flee a parking lot, police said.

MILFORD, CT — A New Haven man was charged after he drove into a police vehicle while attempting to escape arrest, according to police.
Plain clothes officers were checking out the Super 8 Motel parking lot Jan. 3 around 8:10 p.m. when they spotted a Ford Mustang idling. The license plate matched to a BMW stolen from New Haven, police said.
Officers attempted to detain the driver, but he fled and struck a patrol vehicle as well as an unmarked vehicle, police said. Driver Kenneth Riley, 48, was eventually taken into custody after his vehicle became disabled.

Officers found 147 wax folds containing a total of 40 grams of heroin, 13 bags (28 grams total) of crack cocaine, $362, a digital scale, plastic baggies, a glass pipes and weights, according to police.
Riley was charged with possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, three counts of attempted assault on a police officer, interfering with police, engaging police in a pursuit, evading responsibility, possession of a stolen license plate, and misuse of a plate. Riley was held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
