Man Shot in Buttocks in Milford Over Drugs: Police
Milford police say the man was shot as part of an alleged drug robbery as police found heroin, marijuana and oxycodone in the hotel room.

Milford police say on Nov. 2 officers responded to a Boston Post Road hotel on the report of suspicious activity.
During the investigation it was learned that Marquis Tyson, 25, of Dalton Street in New Haven had been shot in the buttocks by an unknown person during a possible robbery of the contents of the hotel room, police said.
Milford police seized about 50 grams of marijuana, small plastic packaging bags, two bundles of heroin and 13 bundles of oxycodone from the hotel room.

Tyson was located by Milford Police and the FBI Task Force at a West Haven residence.
Tyson is charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, and four counts of conspiracy.

He was ordered held in lieu of $100,000 bond.
