Man Stole $6.5k Of DJ Equipment: Milford PD

MILFORD, CT — A Bridgeport man was charged after he stole more than $6,500 worth of DJ equipment from a van, according to police.

Jimmie Bennett, 55, broke into the van in November 2021, police said. He was also charged with breaking a car window to steal a purse in February.

Bennett was arrested April 11 on an active warrant. He is charged with third-degree larceny, second-degree criminal mischief, two counts of 3rd-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief.
