MILFORD, CT — A Milford man, Stanley Hicks, 47, of Atwater Street is accused of illegally reconnecting electrical service to his former residence located at 36 Richard Street from July 2018 through December 2019, after it had been shut off due to non-payment, police said.

The total value of the larceny is $7,568.31, police said. On June 1 Milford police took custody of Hicks in regard to an active warrant for his arrest, police said.

Hicks is charged with third-degree larceny and released on a promise to appear in court on July 13.
