Man Violates Protective Order, Given $5K Bond: Milford Police

The accused punched and kicked the door to the home, police said in a news release.

MILFORD, CT — A Shelton man, Enrique Rivas-Castillo, 20, of Wakelee Avenue Extension, is accused of "punching and kicking the door to the residence of a female that holds an active order of protection against" him, Milford police said.

During the investigation Rivas-Castillo was found to be in possession of LSD, police said. On March 18 police were called to a Naugatuck Avenue residence on the report of a possible domestic violence incident, police said.

Rivas-Castillo is charged with criminal attempt to commit first-degree burglary, violation of a protective order, second-degree breach of peace, and possession of narcotics.

He was given a $5,000 bond.
