Man's Contractor License Expired In 2012: Milford Police
The accused is charged with operating as a home improvement contractor without a license, police said.
MILFORD, CT — A Southington man, James Dempsey, 54, of Queen Street, is accused of agreeing to install a roof on a residence in October 2019, but police said he never finished the job and an investigation found that his contractor’s license expired in 2012, police said.
Dempsey was charged on a warrant on Aug. 13 and is charged with operating as a home improvement contractor without a license, police said.
He was released after posting a $7,500 bond and given a court date of Sept. 21.
