Maroney Participates in Panel Discussion at Yale
The panel discussed policy around increasing access to computer coding for students and state integrated computer science.

From The Campaign of James Maroney: Connecticut state senate candidate James Maroney participated in a computer coding panel discussion during the Yale School of Management Education Leadership Conference April 6 in New Haven.
The panel, A Stem Curriculum for the Future, discussed policy around increasing access to computer coding for students, and ways that states have integrated computer science into their respective curricula.
“There are currently 500,000 open computer coding jobs in the United States,” Maroney said. “A lack of access to computer coding talent in Connecticut has been the reason some companies have left the state – that needs to change.”
