Massive Affordable Housing Project Clears Another Legal Hurdle in Milford: Report
Two businesses attempted to stop the project but a judge said no.

MILFORD, CT — City residents who held out hope that a 257-unit affordable housing complex at 460 Bic Drive wouldn't be built were dealt another blow when the Appellate Court ruled in favor recently of the developer.
Two nearby businesses, MDC Milford Associates at 500 Bic Drive, and Northeast Electronics Corp. at 455 Bic Drive, to the planned development had sought to stop the development but the judge said no, the Milford Mirror reports.
The city had voted to deny the massive project but the developer won in court and the city didn't appeal that decision.

The development calls for 194 one-bedroom apartments, 63 studio apartments on 7.4 acres and 30 percent of the units will be considered affordable according to state guidelines.
