Massive Arts, Entertainment Center Planned In Milford: Report
The project is now underway and will take at least a year to complete.

MILFORD, CT — In 2016, the city of Milford spent $1.6 million to ensure a developer did not construct 63 houses at 701 North Street. And now comes word that the city plans to construct a massive arts and entertainment center on the property, reports the Milford Mirror.
An 1868 farmhouse on the site will be preserved and become part of the arts space, the Mirror reports. A new conference center is also part of the project which is now underway and will take at least one year to complete. Adjacent barns on the site will also be restored as part of the development.
A $1.3 million state grant will help pay for the work. The property will remain accessible to residents once completed.
