Milford Alderman Resigns: Report

The news was made public at Monday's Board of Aldermen meeting.

MILFORD, CT — Fourth-District Democratic Alderman Susan Shaw, who has served since 2011, announced she is resigning due to personal and professional responsibilities, the Milford Mirror reports.

Shaw received bipartisan praise for her work representing her constituents. Shaw made the announcement at Monday's Board of Aldermen meeting. A successor will be named soon. Shaw previously owned Collected Stories Bookstore on Daniel Street.
