Milford Approves Plans for Larger Dunkin' Donuts with Drive-Thru: Correction
Milford apparently does run on Dunkin' as there are eight such locations in the city.

(Editor's Note: The original story implied that a new Dunkin' Donuts was being added to Milford and that is not correct. What was approved was moving the Dunkin' Donuts from across the street to a new location so they are able to fit the drive thru, and it will be on a larger lot.)
MILFORD, CT — After the Planning and Zoning Board rejected plans for a new Dunkin' Donuts at 364 Bridgeport Avenue earlier this year, the project was approved this week, reports the Milford Mirror.
The project was scaled back a bit and will include a 1,840-square-foot building. It will include a drive-thru too and a lot of landscaping too.

The Mirror reports that the property has been vacant and somewhat blighted for a long time. Zoning officials praised the quality of the project. The property last sold for $363,000 in 2011.
Frank D’Andrea, who owns more than a dozen Dunkin’ Donuts in Milford and West Haven is purchasing the property, the Mirror reports.
