
MILFORD, CT — Milford police made the following arrests recently:
- Police were dispatched to Target at 1191 Boston Post Road on March 25 on a report of a shoplifter in custody. A West Haven woman is accused of stealing $155 worth of merchandise. She was charged with sixth-degree larceny and released on a promise to appear in court.
- Police took a Hamilton, New Jersey man into custody March 31 on an active arrest warrant with Connecticut State Police. He was charged with second-degree failure to appear in court. Bond was set at $2,500.
- Police were dispatched to Boscov's at the mall April 2 on a report of a shoplifter detained. A New Haven man is accused of stealing $591 worth of merchandise from the store. He was charged with fifth-degree larceny and released on a promise to appear in court.
- Police were dispatched April 4 to Marshalls at 1413 Boston Post Road on a report of a shoplifter detained. A Stamford man is accused of stealing $220 worth of merchandise from the store. He was charged with sixth-degree larceny and released on a promise to appear in court.
- Police responded to a call at the Mayflower Motel at 219 Woodmont Road on Friday on a report of an unwanted person. Police arrested a Stratford man who had four warrants out for his arrest. He was charged with violation of probation, two counts of first-degree failure to appear, second-degree failure to appear, and interfering with an officer. Bond was set at $305,500.
- Police responded to a call reporting harassing text messages Saturday. A Stratford man was charged with violation of a restraining order and second-degree harassment. Bond was set at $2,500.
- Police responded to a Dave and Buster's at the mall for a welfare check on two young children Saturday. A Shelton man is accused of leaving his two children unattended for about an hour and a half. He was charged with two counts of leaving a child unsupervised in public and released on a promise to appear in court.
- Police responded to a call Sunday reporting a motor vehicle accident at the Super 8 Motel at 1015 Boston Post Road. A Seymour woman is accused of driving under the influence when she backed into a parked car. Bond was set at $500.
- Police were dispatched to the Boscov's at the mall Sunday on a report of shoplifting. An East Haven woman is accused of stealing $90 worth of merchandise from the store. She was charged with sixth-degree larceny and released on a promise to appear in court.
- Police conducted a motor vehicle stop at 767 Bridgeport Ave. on Monday. A Milford man was charged with drinking while operating a motor vehicle and failure to grant right of way from driveway. He was released on a promise to appear in court.
- Police responded to a home for a domestic violence incident Monday. A Milford man is accused of grabbing a family member around the neck during an argument. He was charged with disorderly conduct and released on a promise to appear in court.
