Stolen Car, Shoplifting, Robbery: Recent Milford Arrests
A man taking a swing at officers and another man pointing a BB gun at a victim are among the recent arrests, according to police.

MILFORD, CT — Here are all the recent arrests Milford police made:
- Police were patrolling the area of the Mayflower Motel on Tuesday and saw a vehicle in the parking lot with a misuse of a license plate. Police investigated and found that the vehicle had been stolen out of New York and that a motel guest was driving it. The Bristol woman was charged with larceny of a motor vehicle and released on a promise to appear in court.
- Police responded to a shoplifting complaint at Macy's in the mall Tuesday. A Stamford woman is accused of taking items from the store without paying for them. She was charged with sixth-degree larceny and released on a promise to appear in court.
- A Colchester man was taken into custody by state police Wednesday and turned over to Milford police for an active arrest warrant related to a domestic violence incident. He was charged with criminal violation of a protective order. Bond was set at $2,500.
- A New Haven man turned himself in to police Wednesday on an active arrest warrant related to a domestic violence incident. He was charged with larceny of a motor vehicle, third-degree robbery, disorderly conduct, third-degree assault, and sixth-degree larceny. Bond was set at $25,000.
- Police responded to a domestic violence incident on Avon Street on Wednesday. A man is accused of causing a disturbance and pointing a BB gun at a victim. He was charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree reckless endangerment. He was released on a promise to appear in court.
- Police saw a motor vehicle weaving in and out of traffic and driving erratically. Police stopped the vehicle, which was unregistered. While attempting to tow the vehicle, the Milford man became extremely aggressive, police said. As officers attempted to put him in handcuffs, he began swinging at officers. He was taken into custody and charged with interfering with an officer, reckless driving, and failure to renew registration. He was released on a promise to appear in court.
