DUI Crashes, Fugitive From Justice: Recent Milford Arrests
Here are the arrests Milford police made recently.

MILFORD, CT — Milford police made the following arrests recently:
- Officers were dispatched to an accident on Quarry Road on Feb. 8 where the offending driver fled. Police located the vehicle a short distance away and identified a Milford man as the driver. He was charged with operating under the influence, evading responsibility, and failure to drive right. Bond was set at $500.
- A Milford woman turned herself in to police on an active warrant related to a November larceny. She was charged with sixth-degree larceny and credit card theft and released on a promise to appear in court.
- Police responded to a report of a suspicious person at 1318 Boston Boston Road on Feb. 9. They found a Bronx, NY man who had an outstanding extraditable warrant for assault out of New York. He was taken into custody and charged as a fugitive from justice. Bond was set at $100,000. He was also arrested in connection with a November robbery.
- Police were dispatched to an accident near Chapel Street and Seabreeze Avenue on Feb. 9. A Milford woman was identified as one of the drivers. She was charged with operating under the influence and improper turn. Bond was set at $500.
- Officers were dispatched to an accident where a car crashed into an apartment complex. A Milford man was charged with operating under the influence. Bond was set at $500.
- A Bridgeport woman was taken into custody in that city and turned over to Milford police on a warrant related to an August theft case. She was charged with sixth-degree larceny, third-degree assault, and second-degree breach of peace. She was released on a promise to appear in court.
- A New Haven man was taken into custody on an arrest warrant from November. He was charged with falsely reporting an incident. Bond was set at $500.
- Police responded to a Russell Road home on a violation of a restraining order. A West Haven man was charged with violating a restraining order. Bond was set at $2,500
- A Stamford man was found sleeping in his car on Avon Street on Feb. 8. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and released on a promise to appear in court.
- A Flushing, NY man turned himself in on an arrest warrant Feb. 9 tied to a September incident. He was charged with evading responsibility and failure to obey traffic signal. Bond was set at $5,000.
- A West Haven man was charged Monday with operating under the influence, failure to drive in proper lane on a multi-lane highway, and failure to have lights lit. Bond was set at $500.
