Milford police made the following arrests recently.

MILFORD, CT — Milford police made the following arrests recently:

  • Milford police responded to Marshall's on a report of shoplifting. Police said an East Haven men stole $91.91 worth of merchandise. Police found the man in possession of drug paraphernalia. He also had five active warrants for his arrest for failure to appear in court. He was charged with sixth-degree larceny, possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree failure to appear in court, and four counts of second-degree failure to appear in court. Bond was set at $88,000.
  • A Bridgeport woman was arrested Tuesday after a motor vehicle stop by the mall. She had an active arrest warrant for failure to appear in court from Bridgeport police. She was charged with two counts of second-degree failure to appear in court. Bond was set at $3,000.
  • A New Haven man was taken into custody at the Mayflower Motel on two active arrest warrants for failure to appear in court. He was charged with two counts of first-degree failure to appear in court. Bond was set at $150,000.
  • Police were made aware that a guest at the Motel 6 had an active arrest warrant Wednesday. Police found a Trumbull man in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. He also had a warrant out for his arrest related to a 2022 burglary in East Haven. Police turned him over to East Haven on the warrant. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, second-degree burglary, and conspiracy to commit second-degree burglary. A Stratford woman was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and released on a promise to appear in court.
  • A Clinton man turned himself in to police on a warrant related to a 2023 accident. He was charged with evading responsibility and unsafe backing and released on a promise to appear in court.
