MILFORD, CT — Here are the arrests Milford police made recently:
- Police responded to a home Sunday on a report of domestic violence. A Milford man was charged with disorderly conduct and released on a promise to appear in court Monday.
- A Bridgeport man was taken into custody Sunday on a charge of second-degree failure to appear in court. Bond was set at $500.
- A New Haven man was taken into custody by New Haven police on Sunday. He was turned over to Milford police on an active arrest warrant for a July incident. He was charged with fifth-degree larceny and released on a promise to appear in court.
- Police responded to a Milford home on a report of domestic violence Thursday. The victim said they got into an argument with a West Haven woman in her vehicle. The victim said they wanted to get out of the car and the woman said she would run them over, according to police. The victim noticed a knife in the driver's door and the woman told the victim it was for them, police said. She was charged with second-degree breach of peace, second-degree threatening, and possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle.
- Police responded to a report of a shoplifter at Walmart in custody. A loss prevention officer reported to police that they saw a West Haven woman take items from the store without paying for them. The merchandise was valued at $122.75. The woman was charged with sixth-degree larceny. Bond was set at $500.
- A New Haven woman was taken into custody by Hamden police Thursday and turned over to police for an arrest warrant tied to an October incident. The woman was charged with second-degree robbery, sixth-degree larceny, and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear in court.
- A Milford man was charged in a domestic violence incident in which he was accused of punching the victim three to four times, according to police. The victim, who suffered minor injuries, then fled and called police. The man was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. He was released on a promise to appear in court.
- Police responded to a Milford home for a domestic violence incident Saturday. A Milford man is accused of acting erratically during an argument and pouring a can of Red Bull over a victim's head. A child was present during the argument. The victim left with the child and called police. The man was charged with disorderly conduct and risk of injury to a minor. He was released on a promise to appear in court.
- Police responded to Boscov's on Saturday for a report of a shoplifter in custody. The loss prevention officer reported that a North Haven woman took items from the store without paying for them. The woman was charged with sixth-degree larceny and released on a promise to appear in court.
- Police responded to a report of two shoplifters taken into custody at Boscov's on Saturday. The loss prevention officer said a Bridgeport woman and a 17-year-old juvenile took items from the store and exited without paying for them. The woman was charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear in court. The juvenile was charged and released to their parent.
- Police responded to a report of an accident at the Senior Center on Friday. A witness told police that a Milford man had pushed a victim to the ground after arriving at the scene of the accident. The man was charged with second-degree breach of peace and released on a promise to appear in court.
