MILFORD, CT — Here are the arrests Milford police made recently:

  • A West Haven man was taken into custody for violation of a protective order March 19. Bond was set at $2,500.
  • Police responded to a River Street address for a breach of peace incident March 21. A Milford woman is accused of yelling at the victim and striking his vehicle's window. She was charged with breach of peace and released on a promise to appear in court.
  • Police responded to Merwin Avenue and Oxford Road on a report of a motor vehicle accident March 21. A Plainfield man was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Bond was set at $500.
  • Police were called to the Hollister at the mall on a shoplifting report Friday. Two women from Queens are accused of stealing about $700 in clothing from the store. They were both charged with fifth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny. Bond was set at $500.
  • Police responded to Mallard Drive on Sunday on a report of a breach of peace incident. A Milford man is accused of punching the victim's vehicle during an argument, causing extensive damage. He was charged with disorderly conduct and first-degree criminal mischief and released on a promise to appear in court.
  • Police made a motor vehicle stop Sunday for misuse of plates. During the investigation, police found the passenger was in violation of a full no-contact order protecting the vehicle's driver. The New Haven man was charged with violation of a protective order. Bond was set at $2,500.
  • Police responded Sunday to the area of Edgefield Avenue for a report of domestic violence. A West Haven man is accused of unlawfully entering a victim's apartment and vandalizing the victim's room. He is also accused of assaulting another victim, resulting in minor injuries. He was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct, third-degree assault, and second-degree burglary. Bond was set at $7,500.
  • A West Haven woman was taken into custody Monday on two active arrest warrants. Both were for separate shoplifting incidents in February. She was charged with two counts of sixth-degree larceny and released on a promise to appear in court.
