Milford Board Of Aldermen Passes $256.3 Million Budget: Report
The point of contention in the budget, which passed by a 3-1 vote, was the level of support for schools, according to a report.

MILFORD, CT — The Board of Aldermen passed a $256.3 million city budget for the 2024-25 fiscal year at its Monday meeting, Hearst Connecticut Media reported.
The biggest sticking point was whether the budget supported schools enough. Previously, the Board of Finance had cut roughly $1 million from the district's request.
The version of the Board of Aldermen passed in a 3-1 vote is similar, with schools receiving $110 million, short of the requested $111.3 million.
