Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce's Friday Leads Group Makes Donation to Purple Pantry Boxes

On December 20, 2024, The Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Friday Leads Group made a holiday donation of $600 to Purple Pantry Boxes, a food distribution organization in Milford. The Group’s 25+ members collected funds and voted to make a donation to Purple Pantry to support their mission to serve people who struggle with food insecurity.
Purple Pantry has 18 purple wooden boxes in various locations that are filled daily with shelf stable food. People can freely take what they need from the Purple Pantry boxes or share items by leaving food in the boxes.
“All of the money that’s raised in Milford stays in Milford. With these funds, all of the food we buy goes to fill the pantries in Milford,” according to Susan Brown, founder of Purple Pantry.
