Milford College Student Earns Bachelor's Degree

From McDaniel College: Catherine Faye Dube of Milford (06461) graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from McDaniel College on May 19.
McDaniel College awarded more than 600 undergraduate and graduate degrees during the 148th commencement ceremony on May 19. Commencement speaker was McDaniel College Professor Emeritus Francis "Skip" Fennell, mathematics education expert and advisor for the Emmy award-winning PBS shows "Peg + CAT" and "Odd Squad."
The graduates hailed from 22 states, plus the District of Columbia, and 17 countries.

Academic honors given at graduation include summa cum laude for a cumulative grade point average of 3.9 or higher, magna cum laude for a cumulative grade point average of 3.70 to 3.89 and cum laude for a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 to 3.69.
