Milford Concert Band Presents 'Milford Veterans of Service'
The concert will take place following the Milford's Veterans Day parade on November 6.

From the City of Milford:
The Milford Concert Band, under the direction of Duane Berge, will present 'Veterans in the Community' in conjunction with the City of Milford’s Office of the Mayor on Sunday, Nov. 6, at 3:00 p.m. at Milford City Hall, 110 River St. This begins their holiday concert season around town.
The concert will take place following the Milford’s Veterans Day parade, which will pay tribute to deployed and retired Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Coast Guardsmen, Merchant Mariners and Chaplain stateside and abroad. Several members of the Milford Concert Band members are military veterans. We would like to also recognize local fraternal service organizations for their contributions to our town over the years

Our program consists of Pop and Rock medleys from the sixties, seventies, eighties, as well as Broadway and movie soundtrack music. Armed Forces Salute is where we turn the spotlight on the vets in the audience. “We play music appropriate for all ages and listening preferences. We put smiles on everyone, toddlers to seniors”, said conductor and music director Duane Berge. “We’re a community first and a band second”.
The concert is free (donations welcome) and open to the public. Milford City Hall is located at 110 River St., across from the Parsons Government Complex. The community is welcome at the end of the parade to meet the band and share in our concert preparations.
